Situated on the northern end of Tenterfield's main street, Tanglewood is housed in the old Masonic Lodge which was built in 1877. In more recent years, the lodge has been known locally as the Christmas Place so it was inevitable that this site be named the Christmas Lodge, a combination of its history, rather than Tanglewood.

Julie, the elf-in-charge and owner, has been handcrafting and painting for over 20 years and has put together a display that will tempt even the fussiest of shoppers.
